I just wanted to share my excitement. My husband and I played hooky from work, kids in school/daycare, and went snowboarding. I haven't been since I had my first child 5 1/2 yrs ago. I was 29 then and no signs of MS. I was diagnosed with MS in Aug 06. Fatigue and balance are a problem for me so I wasn't sure that I would have the stamina for a day in the snow. I thought for sure my legs would be to weak. I'm so proud of myself for making myself go and try. I did great. It was a wonderful experience. I hope MS never takes these kinds of activities away from me.
We also took our 2 kids to Disneyland in February. Two FULL days of walking all around the park, morning to night. I've really been trying to do the things I'm afraid of losing someday.
Cheers to all of you
