Burning Limbs!! - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I've had the tingling sensations for years which were bareble and not painful but these new burning sensations I'm having are constant and quite painful in my arms and legs!! It feels like bee stings. I'm also feeling cool spots like I've rubbed icey hot on the back of my neck and back.

Does this new thing I'm feeling mean anything? Does it mean something new is going on? I had this happen in my wrist a few years back and after 6 months of pain, I finally went and had a cortisone shot which relieved the pain but the wrist was never the same after that. It still has numbness and tingles.

Any input will be helpfull!! Thanks a bunch~ Cindy

Cindy, have you been tested for anything? It sounds alot like Fibro in your case, but without having had MRIs or evoked potentials....have you had any tests? And, what kind of doctor are you seeing? I would start with a good Neuro or Rheumy...

These symptoms could be indicative of many things including MS. If you haven't already, you need to be seen by a neurologist and get tested. Something is going on and the sooner you know what to treat the better.
