Confused - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can explain this. I had a special x-ray done due to a tooth or root infection. On the diagnosis it says the superior surface of the right condyle showed signs of flattening and sclerosis and the left condyle showed signs of sclerosis. Is there some other kind of sclerosis? I tried looking it up but I can't seem to find anything. I heard nothing from the maxiofacial specialist but when I emailed to see if I need a follow up appointment he said yes to please make one. I need to do that tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated.

Sclerosis and Multiple Sclerosis are different. Sclerosis "by its self" in your case would appear to be nerve damage to your teeth, possibly your root nerves? It does not appear to me to be MS related (my non-medical opinion!).

Wheww! Thanks I was getting a little paranoid. I have been really tired all the time and I am always hot. Thanks!

I used to live in Lomita, SOCAL. I was often hot! If you have trouble regulating your body temperature, you might want to see a neurologist because nerve system damage can cause this to happen.

I am seeing a neuorlogist soon for my restless leg, I will bring that up. I can't get any sleep either. Thanks for your help!
