| Re: Question to MSNik,
Hi Rem. Not sure if you are on Rebif, as I am , or another drug....but Ill answer your question based on MY experience. Because Rebif is only 3 times a week, rule of thumb is that as long as you put 48 hours between shots, really doesnt matter if you go morning or night as long as the time is inbetween. And, since time changes dont affect 24 hours in a day...whatever day/ night you did your last shot at home, wait 48 hours and resume shots wherever you are...
I do my shots before dinner..I havent had a side effect since the 3rd month, so I generally like to get them out of the way as soon as Im finished eating, or before I eat if I can fit it in...it clears out the evening for me, which is the only real time I can sit around and relax....
When you lose a whole day traveling east...keep in mind that TECHNICALLY, your body HASNT lost a day....so keep up the 48 hours in between. Now, if you really want to go 3 days without a shot, to get on the new time zones 48 hour period...you could, but resume shots every 2 days after that....with REbif, there is always 3 days where we dont inject....for me from Thursday night (shot night) till Sunday night (shot night) im actually giving my body a 3 day break....then I do Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday again..
I hope this helps...Its hard to put online what Im trying to say....but I wish you well, youll be fine. And BTW, if you are doing shots daily, or even weekly, the same applies...keep to your "home" schedule and youll be fine!
Hugs
And have fun!
Nikki
