hi mri spine was clear except i was reading the report and this is what it said. post contrast imaging demonstrates slight irregular shaped 1cm area relative hypointensity at medial margin of left kidney w/o corresponding hyperintsity on gradient t2 images this is uncertain siginfigance not clearly a small cyst. ultrasound would be of a assistance. any thoughts? thanks

Mary ...wish I could help. Did the dr. say anything? If not, I would schedule an appointment to get an explanation. Even better, call the nurse and ask for a return phone call to try to get an answer. I, personally wouldn't let it go until I got one.

I would get an ustrasound.
