| My Mri Results But Haven't Called Dr
I picked up my report of the MRI of the spine. When I read this, I decided to wait on calling my DR on the findings because I wanted to understand alittle of what I've read so I could decide on what questions to ask him about this. I figured I'd wait out the weekend, look up some info, then call on Monday to see what his findings are.
I wanted to share with you all and get your input. It says:
mild spondylosis at c-4-c5 c-5-c6 c6-c7.
small broad-based disc osteophyte complex at c5-c6. mild narrowing of invertebral disk with slight osteophyte formation. There is a small broad-based disc osteophyte complex which slightly impresses on the thecal sac.
craniocervical junction is normal. The cervical cord is of normal signal and caliber throughout. There are no areas of abnormal enhancement.
So, from what I've looked up and understood, is that I have bone spurs and something is pressing on the sack holding the spinal fluid.
Though it used the words small, and mild, could this be causing the tingling and numbness in my legs, arms face and back and weakness in my legs, do you think? Of course, this definately would not be a reason for the fatigue, I would imagine.
I plan on calling him Monday for some answers.
I know your not doctors but I know you've seen your share of MRI reports and maybe someone has seen a similiar thing.
Any input will be helpful!!
Thanks bunches
Cindy
