Chills from Rebif anyone? - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Hello
Does anyone else experience chills during the night after injecting with Rebif? I have been on Rebif for 5 years now and have only experienced it 5 times, not bad but miserable while it's happening. It usually happens about 2 hours after injection and last for about 1 hour. I guess it's mild compared to some things that could happen. My husband injects me at bedtime so usually I can sleep through it.
By the way, what a great site I have found here. So much information, sometimes I think I am the only one with this disease.

I Have Experienced This Also,not Very Often I Have Been On Rebif For 10 Months.

Other Than Getting Adjusted To The Site Reactions, I Have Done Well And Mri's Have Been Stable.

I sometimes get chills not too often.
I take motrin to alleviate the chills and flu like symptoms.
My teeth chatter... can't get warm. I put on socks extra blankets and then in about an hour and taking everything off.
Just a part of the rebif.

Heavens yes. I was on Rebif for about 3 months--middle of summer, my teeth were chattering, I was sweating but cold and wrapped in 2 down comforters and my honey for about 2 hrs. before it ended. Horrible.

Having been on Rebif for over a year now, I have never experienced chills on the drug..in the beginning, I did have the flu like symtoms which came with it, but they passed in about 4 months...
I take one aleve prior to each shot, and have never had a side effect since.
