Turkey question - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Has anyone ever had a reaction to turkey. All of a sudden I have slurred speech. It started Wed, when I first ate turkey. Called my doctor today, but of course he never called back. I'm getting scared...is it a relaspe?

I would think it is more likely a relapse (my non-medical opinion), but you should still get yourself checked in case it is not MS related. Holiday gatherings can increase stress levels. During the festivities, it is important- I believe- to still maintain your "me time".

thank you, I was alone for the holiday....just me-my turkey and 2 cats..guess u could say I'm a shut in with no one handy to help. I sort of think it's a relaspe too...just kind of scared...it'll have to wait till Monday to talk to doctor...

Im sorry you were alone. please email me anytime you are lonesome! I do not live alone, but with all activities of the family, i feel alone. its ok, cause i dont feel well most of the time anyway.
