Walkaide - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Has anyone seen or used the walkaide device.I am getting the chance to try one but I would like to have some other peoples feedback if they have one or have used one. Thanks Stacy

Walkaide does not work for most people. You might be lucky and find yourself one who is assisted. My walkaide is my service dog

Work with your doctor and you will know soon enough if it is helpful. My mom has Parkinson's and was going to try it, but it did not work for her. The nice thing- it did not cost a thing as the company has a trial period of use.

hi stacy! this is libby, and i've been dx'd w/ms for 14 yrs, but about 8 yrs ago, my balance got so bad i cldnt even use a cane anymore, so for the last 8 or 9 yrs i've been using a 'rollator'...& ya know what? i don't know what i'd do with out it!!

the company is going to let me try it over the weekend so I will definatly give it a good try and be as objective as I can but I have heard both good and bad about the device and for the cost of the device it's going to have to be exceptional before I commit to purchasing one...Thanks for the reply...Stacy

Looking forward to your review as I have considered the product myself. I went as far as having the manufacturer send me an info packet. The price is, however, rather steep (as you well know). Good luck and prayers that it does what you want.
