| What's wrong with my nervous system?
I've suffered form migraines since 2001. A little over five years ago, I began getting muscle spasms in my feet and sharp-shocklike pain in my legs. I thought I had a vitamin deficiency. I monitored my diet and began taking vitamins. The spasms and shocks continued. While visiting my PCP, I mentioned it to him, he said that its normal and it will go away. As it did not, I turned to Robaxin which did not work. Shortly thereafter, I began suffering urinary frequency (10 x/day & 3x/night). The pain continued to increase. I started getting burning and needlelike sensations on my skin. The pain and spasms spread through my hands and arms. The dizzy spells intensified. I lost some feeling in my hands. With temperature increases, by body shuts down. This past year my muscles have become so weak its been difficult to perform basic tasks. It seems like too much wrong for a woman in her twenties who eats right, exercises (the best she can), and keeps her stress levels down. I even stayed away from researching things online as to avoid the power of suggestion. However, signs seem to point to MS. On the otherhand, my MRI was clean and really want it to be something else. Having several medical problems does not seem to make sense. It seems more logical that 1 thing is causing this.
Thanks for listening
Alex
