| Re: Weird question
Hi there. Its not a good idea to take Rebif two days in a row. Having been on it myself now for 3 years, I do know how screwd up you can get with your schedule...keep a calendar where you keep your shots- in the kitchen, or wherever you do them- so that you can write down EACH time you do a shot both the date and where in your body you injected. If you do happen to do two shots in a row, you could potentially make yourself pretty sick. It wont be a fatal - have to run to the ER type of mistake, but it can really blow your system into being very ill......its alot better to go 3 days, then to do them back to back.....and if you do happen to go back to back, make sure you call your doctor.
Dont know if anyone told you this, but there is a STAR system to help you with rotation.
S- stomache
T- thigh
A- Arm
R- Rear
using this rotation will help you remember where you did it, start on the right, go the full cycle and then go to the left side of your body...however, dates and days of the weeks, only a calendar can help you with. Make sure you dedicate only 3 days a week to your shots. Say Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.....thats my schedule, that way- at least you know which days are shot days ahead of time (now, remembering what day of the week it is is the hard part and why you need the calendar!) I find that keeping a blank calendar, you can download one off the net next to my shots helps. I NEVER fill it in until the day of the shot- that way I can remember where my last shot was, and when my last shot was....if I fill it out ahead of time, I sometimes wonder "did I do it already?" by not filling it out until shot TIME- I know when I need to do it, not "if" I already did it.
hope this helps.
Nikki
