ms/ tysabri/pericarditis.....any link?
I have MS and have been on Tysabri. Over the past two years I have had three episodes of pericarditis. Has anyone else had pericarditis and what did your neurologist have to say? I have read that recurrent pericarditis can be due to many things including auto immune diseases. There have also been documented cases of pericarditis while on Tysabri. I am happy to hear any of your thoughts!

You might be interested in an article titled: RECURRENT PERICARDITIS DUE TO NATALIZUMAB TREATMENT which can be found in the publication: Neurology - Volume 72, Issue 18 (May 2009) which is published by the American Academy of Neurology. Your doctor's office might subscribe to the journal or your local university library might too.

tracy, my wife is considering tysabri if she is cleared by her doc. she is just finishing a round of IVSM and doing very well.
your post about pericarditis has me alarmed.
