Hi guys and gals----------

Sunday comes and I am off to church.I used to enjoy singing the hymns, but it seems that it is becoming more difficult as I get what feels like a cramp or hug in my vocal cords after a few verses and it becomes difficult to speak or swallow for a few minutes. The sensation doesn't last long and goes away quickly as I let my throat rest but it makes trying to sing a bummer ----I have tried cough drops and throat sprays with little success and am wondering if any of you get this and if there are any tips that could help.

I don't sing all that well but I do like it and really don't want to give it up.

much love-------------knuckle

Re: singing

I have the same problem (although my singing has been better received by the milking cows . Take some ice cold water and sip a bit. I find that it helps me. Now, there are days when my mind does not cooperate and I cannot sing at all. On those days I can only sing in my heart! Remember, God can hear us no matter what!
