I brought the MRI films to my Dr today, and he confirmed I dont have MS. He said I tested positive for 2 bands out of 5 for Lyme, so that is the avenue I am going after next. Lucky for me my brother and sis in law both have Lyme and have a great Dr, that I will get to see to confirm that I have lyme.
I was very relieved to finally rule out MS. Thank you for your help and encouragment when I was afraid and needed a kind reply. I wish you all the best.
Thank you msjayhawk. I think I have a long road ahead of me if I do indeed have Lyme (Which I thought all along really) but I am already on Doxycylcline for 3 weeks. And, I have help with it in my family since 2 of them know all about it.
I think the really hard and scary part is NOT knowing what disease you have, because you cant treat it until you do.
Congrats on finding out what you did Ocean. Being in NJ myself- I know there is a ton of Lymes Disease here....hopefully youre continued treatment will bring much relief to you.

I am doing better today and I just finished my 3rd week of Doxycycline. I have to make an appt with my brothers Dr, who is Lyme Literate and take it from there.
