burning with ms - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I was dx'd with ms 6 years ago. I have had severe burning in my feet. It has progressed and traveled up my legs. It feels as if my feet and legs are in a pot of boiling water. It is non-stop...every second of every day. My doctor has put me on neurontin, baclofen and pamelor. I also am on copaxone every day. Nothing is working to ease the burn. Not at all. It seems to get worse around my periods. Is anyone else having this problem? If so ...what are you on and is it helping? Please reply so I can ask my doc for a new script. For some odd reason, it's possible your subject heading may not be "grabbing" attention. Perhaps you could start a brand new post with a different "headline"? (maybe even use the word "pain")

Hi Karen!

Don't worry, I often think the same thing whenever I leave a post here. I always come back to check, and I see that many have viewed it, but hardly anyone responds. I think it may be because they either don't have anything to comment on (haven't experienced it or don't know what to say) or it's not anything they can relate to?! Either way, I'm sure if someone here is experiencing the same thing as you post about, they will respond eventually. BTW, did you get my last email? Take care!

I too share your symptom at that time of the month. I have no pain or burning feet, but my hands feel even more numb. It also drains my energy level even more. I try to take B vitamins which are good for the nerves, not that it seems to be helping the numbness. I'm still waiting for an MRI as well.
