I have found that my left leg weakness will wear down my right leg due to overworking it. Rest, rest, and more rest is my cure. During the day, now, I make sure I rest between my son's college classes. I avoid putting pressure on either leg until it is time to go. Even then, between buildings I have the need to stop even with my service dog pulling me along.
You have to listen to cues from your body. If I do not listen, the consequences are 2-3 days recovery. Try resting your good leg more. If you are not yet, you might try some forearm crutches. I found these helped me. You might need to look at a power chair for those days when you really need it- remember you need to still try to apply weight bearing exercises to keep your muscles and bones healthy.
You might also speak with a rehabilitation therapist and start a strong program of stretching.
