Sorry me again, back in feb I put a 1.5cm tear in soleus muscle 3 weeks later same calf I put a 4.5 cm tear in gastroc muscle. Passed the time for healing. Tingling still going on but not as bad since I had nerve test. When calf was at its worse it felt like someone was pricking me in my leg and calf. With a pin. Things just got worse started to move to finger tip with stabbing pain randomly every where. So tired but have continued to exercise but are finding when I do workout my muscle in arms are trembling a lot quicker. I'm still not 100% but since nerve conduction test after a pretty intense what felt like over zap of leg. It jumped and the tingling was everywhere in calf. So painful. Anyway my tingling has settled. I can still feel it but only mild not over riding thoughts.
My question is has anyone torn a muscle and it start n ms episode. 5 mths of feeling confussed, depressed, shaking that only I can feel but not see, headaches, memeroy trouble. Vit b12 for 6 weeks: off, list goes on!
I haven't been diagnosed yet. But this site has got so much info and so many people like me. Everyone looks at me like I'm an idiot and my counsellor keeps going on about crap. Very frustrating
The torn muscle area of healing may never feel the same due to nerves failing to make all the connections. The trauma could be enough to cause MS symptoms to present.

Just to clarify that alittle further... a torn muscle CANNOT cause MS. You would have to have MS already for the pain or trauma of the muscle injury to present with MS symptoms.
What Jayhawk stated is true, but i wanted to clarify it better.
I know you are frustrated and I can understand why...but in your particular instance, I would say its time to get a real MS specialist on this and start looking at whether or not you meet any of the criteria for MS.....the symptoms you are having, could be nothing more than a torn muscle and overworking your muscles when you work out...
Ive been following your posts, nothing here is screaming MS to me....but then again, im not a doctor and I dont know your whole history. You absolutely need to see a MS specialist if you want to dx or rule this out once in for all.
I hope you start to feel better soon.
Nikki

Hey Nikki, I didn't mean could it give me ms, calf healed well but leg didn't, I wasn't useing leg full. Crutches, six weeks only doing physio ones. Very mild. I really just wanted to know if injury could cause a flare up , that lasts for months. Different things.... loss of contol of leg. I would stand and right leg wouldn't move. Swing outwards to I gained control. No bladder infection but went through stagevof no warning. Just had to go straight away. Hard to hold. Regined. My physio was concerned as sypmtoms weren't normal... te last few weeks legs have settled bit of tinglin but I'm used to it ,another things were going on too vit b12 low. Needle for six weeks. Arms nd mainly fingers playing up and not to mention the shking tha I feel but no on see's. I'm hoping its neural but with autoimmune system playing up I'm not so sure.
