Eye Spasms

Been going to doctors since April. Diagnosis still pending. MRI showed brain lesions, suspected MS or Lyme but Lyme shows negative, as it can in a lot of cases.

Waiting on last lab bloodwork results but in the meantime I'm just curious if this is a symptom typical of MS...

Both of my eyes are very tight, feel like its right inside below both my eyes and very lite spasms.

Have lots more symptoms, won't list them, main ones being dizzy all the time and brain fog.

Thanks for any info you can offer

Re: Eye Spasms

Due to the number of muscles involved in eye movement, MS could be one of the reasons for the spasms. My right eye closes tightly due to my MS which has cause me to experience light sensitivity issues in my right eye. My neuro "gave up" on trying to pry open my eye lid. In low light or an overcast day my right eye is fine.

It would appear that you are getting the proper testing done. If much of the problem is vision, a neuro-ophthalmologist might provide some answers for you. With the fact you have dizziness and brain fog, you should do well with the neuro.

Re: Eye Spasms

Actually I found help myself. If I wear a pair of polarized sunglasses, my eye will open. If it has been overcast for 2-3 days, I can sometimes do without my sunglasses. In the dark, I can see very well with my right eye, but I have to close my left eye as it causes me to stumble in the dark.
