ON after almost 2 years, CDMS next?

Hi, it's been a while and i hope everyone is well. I've been doing okay and have not been as paranoid these last few months. However, May will be 2 years since I had ON and was treated with IVSM. Everything I have read says that if you have ON and it's treated with IVSM, it can delay CDMS for 2 years. Enter paranoia.
So i'm about 3 months away from the 2 year mark and I can feel the panic starting to build up again.
Has onyone had ON as a CIS then gone on to develope CDMS? I know MS is different for everyone, but i never can seem to come across anyone who had ON as their first ever symptom of MS that went on to develop CDMS.
I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks!

I would encourage you to toss out the reading material because MS is never "by the book" from my experience. Your increasing anxiety could, however, trigger a symptom or to bring on new symptoms. Set aside your worries. If things change with your MS, nothing is going to stop the arrival. Just enjoy one day at a time and be prepared to combat any MS attack with your pre-planned scenario. You are in control and MS does not need to control you.

Re: ON after almost 2 years, CDMS next?

I have to agree. Whatever you read, is outdated and not exactly accurate. There is no evidence that any two year mark exists...

Stress, however, is your enemy and worrying about it is stressful and will not only contribute to an attack, but also give you many other things to worry about...

So, try to stay focused on what is NOW and not what might never happen...
ok??

Youre doing really well. I remember when you were first dx- and youve done so well since then- keep up the good work! Proud of you!
