My mum aged 63, had a fall a few months ago. The fall resulted in a dislocated elbow and also a fracture in the right elbow.

Although she was in a bit of plaster and "proper" medical care, she lost sensitivity in the last two fingers. She was operated subsequently and the ulna nerve was transposed. The doctor said it would take almost a year for the sensitivity to return.

Her prime concern now is the movement of the elbow. The elbow is very stiff and she cannot put her hand to her mouth, so she cannot have her meals. Even after physiotherapy, she is not able to get the flection and the extension back. The doctor says the ideal flection angle must be 130-140 degrees but she can only manage 100 degrees as of now.

Any tips on what she could do to boost the angle to something like 130 degrees? Any remedies or cures?
