ACE-031 Clinical Trials - Muscular Dystrophy Message Board

I came across a press release today announcing the start of a phase I clinical trial for ACE-031, a muscle building compound. It is hoped that ACE-031 will increase muscle mass and strength in those with age-related muscle loss, neuromuscular disease, cancer treatment-related muscle loss and others. The trial is set to take place in Canada, but no additional information on enrollment was included. Anyone else here heard anything about this?

No, I haven't heard anything about it, but I would love to know more. I went to see my family doctor yesterday and so far, with what tests I have had, they have ruled out Lupus, but not MD. I am now waiting for a muscle biopsy. I wanted to start physical therapy, but my doctor advises against it until I get a diagnosis. She is right. I just wish there was something to strengthen my legs as they seem to be getting worse. If you get any more info, please post as I live in Canada.

I found it on the internet, as well. I live in Canada, so I would like to know where the trials are. I e-mailed the company yesterday, but haven't had a reply yet.

Didn't get a reply from company, but the trials are being conducted in Montreal and they are recruiting at this time. I found this info on the net.
