| Prednisone
Has anyone used Prednisone for treatment of Muscular Dystrophy? One of the neurologist I went to recently suggested that I take it, as he thinks I have early stages of MD. I tried it in the past, but only for 10 days and I did not see much improvement.
DNA testing hasn't been done, but I have gotten so many other test done, and I think the DNA test would have been less costly.
It is so frustrating being sent to so many docs, and not having a real diagnosis. 4 docs say MD, 1 says stress, 1 has no idea.
I keep getting sent to different docs, then they act like I am the one who requested to be sent there, like going to appointments are the only thing I have to do with my time, and then I get sent to another one. It is quite tiresome not having any real answers. I wish they would just listen to me and try to figure what is wrong. I do believe I have MD but knowing what kind would be a nice thing to know.
It is tiring going to so many doctors, I think I am going to wait for about a year, and see how much worse I get and go again, unless I get the horrible squeezing of my thighs (Mytonia I would guess).
