How you have to think outside the square!!

Home alone doing the dishes a bowl slipped off the draining board little pieces everywhere.....the dustbuster is outside and its too to dark to go out and get it and same with the broom that would risk a fall.... what to do..... no way can I collect all the pieces with the dustpan and brush can't bend over that far and for so long and with nothing to hold on to!!

So what did i do?

a few pieces of double sided tape made into a circle and stuck to the end of my walking stick, collected all the little pieces quite nicely!!

So after feeling all fed up and sad that I couldn't even tidy up and sweep the floor in the end I managed...
just thought I would share that and hopefully bring a smile to your face.
