Hello, I'm new to this Board. I've been diagnosed with DM within the past 4 months and, like others with Myositis, must deal with some pretty rapid changes to my body and lifestyle. Looking forward to exchanging info with others and gaining more insight into this strange disease. Thanks,

Hang in there Joe.
I have DM. Have had it for about 17 years(undiagnosed until Sep of 2003).
This is a strange disease. But like all diseases, attitude plays a major role in recovery.
My biggest problem is having to take all the meds prescribed. Each one seems to have some sort of side effect. So I look for as many alternatives as possible.
THINK POSITIVE!
