high cpk level

Have had high cpk levels for about four years, from 900- 292 the most recent level, female, 58 years, had recent surgery on spine to remove spur causing atrophy in right arm and hand, now not so sure that was the problem.

High CPK is just an indication that the muscle has been damaged. It could be from over use. I have Polymyositis and my initial CPK was 8840.
