Nails smell

For a couple of years I noticed that my finger nails smell. Its hard to describe the smell but it isnt pleasent. Do I have a nail infection or what?

Re: Nails smell

Yeah I hear ya on that one. Except it isn't my fingers but my big toes. Everytime I cut them, there's something smelly under it. I refer to the smell lovingly as "toe cheese." I've tried to spray them occasionally with foot spray but probably not on a consistant basis. That usually goes for my athletes foot that seems to come and go like the summer and winter.

FYI my feet may sound disgusting but they dont look anything like it sounds. Boy I've seen some messed up toes in my day and feel blessed they dont look anything like those.

In your case, the 'smell' is coming from dead tissues underneath the free edge of the nail. Try going to a salon for a professional pedicure, or follow the pedicure steps on my website. www.hooked-on-nails.com (link approved by Moderator 1)
