Dark Brown Discoloration on Pinky Toenail on Right Foot
(Sorry, I accidently placed this in the foot problems section instead of here. I will make another and put it here, sorry for placing it there).

I have a Dark Brown Discoloration on my Pinky Toenail on the Right Foot. It isn't thick, not hard to cut, no other problems except the color. Any Advice or explanation?

Pseudomonas bacterial infection will usually begin as a light greenish discoloration to the nail plate in the area of the infection. As the infection grows, the color will turn darker green, then brown, then black. I would see our physician as this can affect other nails as well and is contagious.

I never reached the stage of green and all those other colors, this toe has been like this for a while now. None of my other nails have been infected.
