Bendy/wavy nails... - Nail Problems Message Board

My fingernails start to bend downward and some of them even get kind of wavy at the ends when they reach a certain length. I basically have to keep my nails short or else they look horrible. They are also pretty thin and I can easily bend them when I push on the ends. Is there something I can do for my nails so that I can actually grow them out without them bending or waving? What about make them thicker?

Nail plate shape is genetic. so look at your parents and grandparents nails. If they have the same type of nail, then there is nothing you can do to change things. If none of your fmaily have the same type of nail, then it culd be from some internal disorder and you may want to ask your doctor. You can always opt for artificial nail enhancements.

You can wear certain nail polish that hardens them. I do and mine are long. Never be withou it, the more layers you put on the better. Just put one layer on a day,
