| Re: OPI nail envy
Hi, I have been a nail tech since '85, first how did you remove them? Did you soak them or pick/peel them off? Your nails are made up of 8 layers, so the more you pick the thinner the nails get. It takes anywhere from 6-9 months to grow a new nail, that is just from the nail base to the end of your finger. I would recommend that you keep them trimmed as short as possible and OPI nail envy is ok, but if you want some advice from someone who has gone "naked" from acrylics from time to time, I always go to the Sally Hansen section of WalMart. That product line is tried and true and had never let me down. Aslo remember to massage a good cuticle oil into your cuticles on a daily basis that increases circulation and promotes nail growth. Good Luck!
