on all my fingernails I have horizonatal white lines mid-way. I read somewhere that it could be stress? In the time it would have taken for them to grow to this point would co-ordinate to some severe trauma in my life but nonetheless it bothers me! I am putting vitamin E on them and cuticle cream..being real nice.. seems to being going ok.

Also, I was an idiot and put those fake toenails on and they looked amazing. I've never had a problem before with my toenails but I banged them up (my son banged his walked into several of them) and lost nails etc as a result. Then as a result of stress, I started picking at them. When I took the nails carefully off after months of reaapplying them they were all screwed up!!!!!!!!!! Some toes look like there are no nails at all!!!!!!!!! Any ideas on how to make them grow faster or better so that I leave them alone? I am taking biotin, applying burt's bees cuticle cream, and vitamin E. I was an idiot.. I didn't even realize I was doing it!!!!!! God not a place to talk about what brought this one but helppppppppppp! the problem is they were all ragged and I started picking them under stress. It's mortifying to say. Before I noticed they were totally a wreck!!!!!!!!!!! It's so embarrassing. I'm glad it is winter so I can hide them but I've always been proud of them now they are ruined. For months now I can't get them back to their pretty state! Ideas on how to make them grow faster? Keep them healthy meantime? ARgh sooooooooooo mad at self. No more fakies.... how do I make them back to normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooooooooo mad at myself!!!!!!!!! My cuticles are a mess, the toenails are tottttttttttally embarrassing... (fake nails an picking at them) Also baby toe curls vertically when it grows is that normal?
