Thanks, Marti. This goes back to a post I submitted months ago. I noticed the nails on three fingers separating at the corners. I went to a dermatologist back in August and he cut off two of the nails (I hadn't noticed the third one at that point) to see if there was any fungus. There wasn't. The separating portion is white-the color of my nail tips. No yellow or green. I keep my nails clean and dry. The one nail with the most separation has been kept short-I won't let it grow past the free edge. The nail is growing, but the separated portion hasn't changed. I do not remember any major trauma to the nail. I am on a computer for work every day, so it may have been due to my hard typing (I type fast and am not too light on the keys).
I was told by a client (who is the manicurist) that Eurpoean Touch's Theracreme will help this, as she has witnessed it herself. I have been using it for about a week now and it is just too soon to see if it is doing anything.
I have also made an appointment to see another dermatologist next month.
From what I have read on-line, this Theracreme supposedly combats lifting nails and dry, brittle nails. I just wanted to know what you, or anyone else, if anything, know about this cream.
Thank you.
