| On Lamisil 4-6 weeks, but new toe is purple!
I was diagnosed by my doctor with nail fungus on my toenails. One of my nails was purple. I started Lamisil about 2 months ago and that nail is now almost completely white (i.e. healing). However, at least 4 - 6 weeks after being on Lamisil and the toe starting to heal another toe (on the same foot) has started turning purple and DARK purple. My doctor says that maybe that fungus just started growing before I started the medicine and I didn't notice it.....but why would it be getting worse if I'm on medicine to heal it???? Has anyone had this happen to them while on Lamisil?? Thanks.
