Hi,

5 years ago I had a severe ingrowing toenail on my left foot (big toe) and I had this surgically removed. My nail grew back after about a year but it never looked right to me. Anyway, last night I was in the bathroom and I gently touched the corner of my nail with my finger and thought "I'll give you a trim" and next thing I know my toe nail completely comes off without me touching it.

Its weird. There is nothing there now. Just a square shape where my nail should be and what looks like a bit of dry skin. My toe keeps going purple up the top too and its freezing cold. Both Feet are.

What do I have to do about my nail? Its sore a bit but isn't bleeding. Looks like the nail just dropped off....like it died or somethng.
