Toenails - Yellowish / Dead? Not sure what. - Nail Problems Message Board

Hey, for since about 6 months ago (gradually got worse) i had a toenail start becoming yellow, anyway, it slowly spready throughout the nail on my big toe, at the moment its halfway across the nail.

It has also spread to around 5 of my toes, some on different feet.

The yellowness, it seems the nail is dead, i can cut into the nail and get rid of the yellowness til i get to a healthy part, the yellow bits just break off with no pain, its a kinda crumbly stuff... and it smells kinda bad once you pick at it.

I'm not sure whether this is fungus or what? First time ive ever had it and not sure how to get rid of it, anyway it isnt pleasent.

Please help.

/EDIT after reading on this, i see it is, indeed toenail fungus.

Now my question, is this incurable? Is there anyway to get rid of it? I hate it, its digusting!! Please help.

There are a lot of suggestions on this board to help you get rid of the infection. From Vicks Vaporub to White vinegar to many of the over-the-counter treatments. You will just have to try them and see which one will work the best for you.

Go to your Dr, they have Lamisil cream but the pills are supposed to work much better as it goes through your system and not just on the surface.
