Covering Up/Hiding Toenail Fungus And Dr. Scholls Or Other Products?

I am on Lamisil to get rid of my toenail fungus infection. It is clearing up, but you can still see it for now. My left is all but gone (tiny strip left), but my right toe is still about 2/3 of the way covered.

It is growing out and going away, but I was hoping to make the nail seem normal. I really like to wear my flip-flops and am embarrased to wear them with my toe like it is.

I am using Dr. Scholls that you use in the shower and scrub it with the included brush. It claims that it can make the nasty fungus look go away or start to clear in two weeks. So far, I do not think it is doing anything at all.

Reading the posts, it seems that I should use Vicks or Vinegar to clear it up. WIll it speed up the look of the toe faster than it is growing out now? Is there any products that I can buy to hide or that will clear up the toe quickly?

Sounds like you are doing everything there is to do. Unfortunately nail fungus takes a long time, and considering you are a male, you can't cover it up with nail polish. And even if you could, they say not to so the nail will not get damp, the best thing you can do with all of what you are using, is keep using it and go with out shoes and socks as much as possible, if you are embarrassed then just wear your flip flops around the house. I got a fungus from a pedicure at a place that did not use clean tools, it has taken me a little more than a year to get rid of it, but I did cover it with polish....and I did not take anything except use over the counter fungus removers, I think they do work if used long enough, not too sure about having to scrub the nail as you did, can't imagine any amount of scrubbing wouod take it away.
