i have a problem with my nail. a few months ago, i had a infection in my middle finger from a cut... the infection cleared... i think. part of my nail was white and i can completely see under the nail and left it a little... so when i was cutting my nails, for some reason i was able to cut under the part i used to have a infection in and not bleed because my skin was hard. but i cut off some of the top part of my nail under the skin and ripped part of the inside of the nail out...but not all of it, about half. is it completely damaged? i hav found a lump and i think it was causing my nail to left.... now i hav a piece of a nail, a round lump next to the hard skin that was growing and it looks like a half moon and my nail isnt growing back, its been at least two months and now i hav a hard skin where my nail should be. will my nail grow back in the future? im worried that it wont grow back.... ;[

btw.. i am not in pain and has my infection cleared? i got it when i was playing basketball outside wit some friends when i had a cut less than an inch away from my finger nail... its been at least one or two months and all i see is hard skin and wats left of my nail is slowly moving out and turning white. o.o
