| Nail Fungus maybe with something else too.Advice please
I will do my best to describe this.
My big toe looks like it has a nail fungus. The free edge is jagged so I cut as much of it as I could away. The nail was thickened so I filed that down. But also
There is a gap between the nail plate and the cuticle area. All that skin between there is basically gone because i cleaned it out, it was just falling out.
In searching for home remedies, I read about soaking peroxide and vinegar soaks.
When I put peroxide on the big toe, the cuticle area whitenes and it even blistered.
When I soaked in vinegar, it stung which is probably normal but now the skin around the cuticle is bright red?
Do I perhaps have more than just a fungal infection going on here?
Also the nail is spongy, I can push it its so soft.
Any advice appreciated
