Help I have a line on my finger... - Nail Problems Message Board

I have like a pencil like coloured line on my right hand pinky. It's not like dark dark but like a light grey line. I've had this for about 2 years and it's been the same. It hasn't gone away and I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm kinda worried. Could anybody help me out?

I have a light brown one that starts at the cuticle and continues the length of my fingernail right down the center. I was going to post the same question on here so that some one may be able to help. I've only had mine for about 3 months.

Both of you need to see your dermatologist - any sudden change in the nail plate is cause for concern. There could be several reasons why the lines are there and both of you have medical issues that need professional diagnosis and treatment.
