unprovoked bleeding - Nail Problems Message Board

my finger nails and toe nails are bleeding slowly for no aparent reason, its also my left hand. its comming off an orangish color, comming off i mean it wipes off my skin isnt just orange. i havnt eaten anything orange touched anything orange no lotions new soap and basically my foot looks like the nails are bleeding and its dripped down my foot and i slightly wiped it off, but nothings dripped off my foot, this is after sleeping and washing my hands and feet before and waking up orange, any ideas?

Any sudden change in th nail plate is cause for concern and I highly recommend that you see your doctor immediately!

i saw my dr she said its not a medical condition of any kind...and a few days after it started it just stopped im not sure what caused it or made it stop but its nice being back to normal.

It could have been a reaction to something you touched or used on your hands.

the problem with that suggestion is i didnt use anything on my hands, there wasnt anything near that color anywhere and i didnt use new lotion or something like that just a weird freakish thing it didnt happen to anyone else in the home either
