| fingernail loss
I lost my thumbnail about 1 month ago, thought maybe I had smashed it. It is not growing back in, just a distorted half nail is present. Now I am having pain in another fingernail and realized it is separating at the nail bed also. So I am going to lose it soon. I have a history of Hashimoto's thyroiditis 20 years ago, treated since then with thyroid replacement (monitored closely). I have arthritis but only taking Tylenol Arthritis for that. Any reasons for this nail loss? Anything I can do to stop it?
