| U shape nail quick.
Hello
When I was little, I used to cut my toenail in an U shape. For several years, I have cut them in a straight line, because it looks better and I heard it makes the nails less likely to grow in. But the line where the nail is attached to the skin is still in an U shape and dirt tends to accumulate under the edge of the nail since it is not against the skin on the sides.
Will the line of attachment progress to a straight line eventually and is there something I can do about it?
