I would say several weeks, perhaps in the ballpark of six weeks you should see signs of whether the treatment is working or not. If the lower part of your nail plate looks healthy and the infection hasn't spread anymore, I would say the treatment is working. Something else you could try is take a picture of your fingernail once a week and compare the pictures to see if your fingernail is improving.
