| 2mm longitudinal brown line on toenail
The line is light brown from the cuticle all the way to the end. I noticed it for three months, and after reading an article, i immediately made a dermatologist appointment for next week.
If it was subungual melanoma, would this line be UNDER the nail plate, and that i would actually be seeing it through my nail?
What i notice is that the line is on the top surface of the nail. I see no evidence of brown color underneath or within the nail, just on top.
I hope it is just a benign nail mole, but wouldnt that be a black line? I am Asian, and read that benign lines are common, especially in darker skinned folks.
