| Finger is oddly swollen!!
Here is the situation: I have never had this happen before. I do bit my nails constantly. My middle finger on my right hand is swollen (from the tip to the second joint). There is a little bit of bruising on the side (which is right next to my pointing finger, which is also a bit swollen, but it doesn't hurt). On the bruising is where it hurts, but only when I touch it.
I am not sure what is going on. It could be an infection of some sort, perhaps from an ingrown nail, but I don't know. Any ideas before I spend a lot of money at a doctor's office?
