| Cuticle damage to thumb nail
Hello, about a month ago - due to extremely bad habit - I went further than usual in biting my nails and unfortunately damaged the cuticle. As a result of this, I believe, my thumb nail is dented about halfway up the nail and is overall dented above that halfway point to the tip. It seems as though the lower half of my nail is better though - the cuticle is healed and there are no dents or misshapes in that part. My question is: will this be healed, and the nail eventually go back into its original smooth state? And should/could I take any particular action as to expediting the healing process (as it is quite unsightly).
