Cuts above nails - Nail Problems Message Board

hi, im a 14 and a male, usually most guys get it, but i get these cuts above my nails, my mom says its cause i expose them to water too much and they dry too quickly, and i just want my hand to look better because my girl is always looking at then when we play around, so any suggestions of how i can heal them? the skin that are supposed to be attached to the nails are tearing and they sometimes sting alot, so help would be appreciated, thank you

Go to a Sally Beauty Supply in your area and purchase a bottle of Botanical Oil in the nail department. Apply it at LEAST twice daily to the cuticles and massage into the skin. ALWAYS apply after having your hands in water. If you cannot find a Sally Beauty Supply, you can ask for Solar Oil at your local nail salon or at an Ulta outlet nationwide.
