Question I seem to have major problem with my toenail?
One of my toenails split at base and than new toenail started growing over top of old one where than I had new toenail over top of the old one. Problems is the old toenail is under the new one is crumbling really bad . And is hard to cut the toenail has I have a new one over top old one.

I'm not sure what to do or what is going on.

Have you talked to your doctor to see what can be done to fix this? I would guess your doctor would have to remove both toenails in order to allow a new nail to grow unobstructed.

Vinegar water solution kills fungus that causes toenail problems. Fungus
can even stop toenail from growing. Use 1 t. vinegar to 2 t. water. Soak
half a cotton ball - apply to toe and secure with rubber band or string.
Leave on 1-2 hrs. per day. Keep cotton wet. Problem will clear in 1-2 wks.
Helpful advice - damp grass carries fungus to toes. It may take 9 mos. for
new toenail to come back even after fungus is killed.

just curious about the damp grass? do you mean stay away from damp grass?
