Hey, I live in Mississippi, near Biloxi too!
Hi all! Thanks for making this little message board thing for Hurricane Katrina sympathies. I live near Biloxi, MS. I am alright though, and am fortunate to still have a house standing. I haven't really been able to see the destruction though.

You are fortunate to still be able to smile..and go on..Money comes and goes. Houses will be re-built by your strong will and patience...but your life and high spirit is priceless. I take my hat off to you.

I`m so happy to hear some good news We know a old couple in their 80`s and all they have left from the strom is 3 cooking bowls and the strang thing is thats all they had left from the last big storm. They were from Biloxi but they are ok here in the Baton Rouge area with friends and talking about going back there to live.Good to hear you and home are ok.....jbot
