Early symptoms include Cafe AuLait patches, Which look like coffe stain coloured birthmarks.
Frekles under the armpits and on the groin area.
By Puberty IF you have NF, you will more than likely have Fibromas, "skin Tags" which look like little warts, these can differ in size also, and appear anywhere on the body
You can also have visible speckles in the white of your eye
You cannot develop NF, It just seems your mother in this case was diagnosed later in life,
