Hi All... went and saw my Neurologist today for the MRI/Myelogram/CT Scan results... he said that my Myelogram/CT of my lumbar looked fine, but that obviously since I am having so much pain still and the ESI's haven't worked etc.. that I obviously have permenant extensive damage to the S1 nerve... so he suggested the Nerve Root Stimulator Implant... said he would have my Pain Management Doc do a test on the 23rd when I go to see if I get immediate relief from the stimulator, and if so, he (my neuro) would do the surgery to implant the stimulator.... Anyone had experience with this? What are the pro's and con's.... did it work... or not work... what does it intell.... etc etc...... Please any responses would be so greatly appreciated...
Also he referred me to a Plastic Surgeon for consult about a possible breast reduction..... he said that would free up alot of the weight being pulled on my neck and back....
